The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book a hotel, a transfer or a tour through one, we may receive a commission from the company you booked with. You pay the same price either way, and the commission comes out of their margin, not your bill.

Which links

Every affiliate link is marked with rel="sponsored" and appears in a module that names the company it opens. Our current or intended partners are Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Hotels.com, Trip.com, Klook, GetYourGuide, 12Go, DiscoverCars, Airalo. Ordinary links to sources, official websites and maps are not affiliate links.

How the hotel lists are ordered

Position one is our own pick, chosen by this guide. Everything below it is ordered by code from verified guest scores, then star rating, then name, with no hand in it. The line under each list says exactly that, so the number on a row never claims more than it should: it is this guide's ranking, not a statement that the top row holds the highest score.

No position on this site is for sale. Commission from the booking links does not buy a place in a list, and no property has paid for one.

What commission does not affect

It does not affect which hotels are listed, the scores, the prices, the distances, or the honest list of drawbacks on each property. Our pick carries exactly the same researched facts as any other, including the things wrong with it.

Prices

We do not hold live rates. The comparison module opens the same property on several booking sites with your dates filled in, and every price you see belongs to that site. Prices and availability change constantly; check before you book.
